Cutie Alert~! Chris Pine? Check. Zachary Quinto? Check. Benedict Cumberbatch? Check~! Check~! Check~!!! Okay.. turning fangirl mode to off now~~ It's time to talk about the movie itself~!

When the crew of the Enterprise is called back home, they find an unstoppable force of terror from within their own organization has detonated the fleet and everything it stands for, leaving our world in a state of crisis. With a personal score to settle, Captain Kirk leads a manhunt to a war-zone world to capture a one man weapon of mass destruction. As our heroes are propelled into an epic chess game of life and death, love will be challenged, friendships will be torn apart, and sacrifices must be made for the only family Kirk has left: his crew.

Star Trek Into Darkness was really good~!The plot build-up was great and tolerable (unlike G.I. Joe)... Although there were some unnecessary scenes that I'd like to cut out.. fillers~! There was no suspense.. Action was all there is and a little of humor.. I must admit.. I love the subtle humor~! The effects weren't that overwhelming, either. They were necessary to showcase Star Trek, but not to overshadow the acting. The story was focused on two keywords: Family and Sacrifice. It's all about how far are you willing to go for the ones you love? Are these moral decisions or just logical? (Hi Spock~! It must have been hard to be the only Vulcan in that ship~!)

Benedict Cumberbatch, Karl Urban and Zachary Quinto's performances were spot on. If you remember them on other characters, you won't see it being reflected here. Chris Pine.. He'll always be the boy next door for me! =( Alice Eve and Zoe Saldana portrayed two different ladies from the nerdy femme to the femme fatale! (Roles they both know too well~~!!)

There were also little easter eggs referencing to the previous Star Trek episodes and it's quite fun to watch~! I'm not a Trekkie but making a little research didn't hurt and was absolutely worth it~! *wink wink* Star Trek Into Darkness is definitely a 5/5 in our book! And you know what I absolutely love? The trailer~! Kudos to the makers for not spoiling the actual story~!!

Have you watched it my dear Fluffies? Yes? Let me know~! No? You should~!

Keep your heads stuffed~!!
