Hopeless: The Dark Cave

Happy New Year, Fluffies! The holidays have come and gone, and it's time to get back on track!

Hopeless: The Dark Cave by Upopa is a survival horror game that's on the borderline for cuteness. (A good strategy, if you ask me.) You start up as a little blob, a cute little blob. You are surrounded by darkness and there is something coming towards you. Friend or Foe, a choice you have to make.. You shoot at the incoming enemy or let your gun down for your friend to join you.

So how do you level up? You don't. You complete a groups of blobs.

Everytime you complete the number of blobs needed for your group.. everybody teleports to what I assume to a safe place.. All but the last blob to complete the group. He stays behind and waits for a group (the requires +1 more blob) to complete. This is beyond my understanding.. Why leave 1 alone? But hey, it makes the game... the game.. You get what I mean.

Here's the gameplay trailer:

You can also buy powerups to aid in your bid for survival. It takes a long time to be able to afford some of the powerups though. Earning the points needed are not on an accumulated basis but from a single game session only. Just an overview on your future efforts, the points needed could go from 35,000 to up to 200,000. It ain't that easy for an average gamer. Again, a strategy to make the game harder and for people to buy the powerups instead of earning them. To the gamers with pride so high as the sky, it's time to prove how far you'll go to getting all those powerups by patience and brute strength!

Hopeless: The Dark Cave is available for free at the Google Play Store and coming soon to the Apple App Store.
